Which Way To Stripe?

If your not crafty, or on a budget
but you want to add something different to your space, why not
S T R I P E S
they can liven up any room and any style

But... one question,
horizontal or vertical?

Either can make a beautiful statement,
both can change a room in different ways.

H O R I Z O N T A L

Doing your stripes horizontal can open up a small room.
They carry your eye around and can make walls appear wider than they are.
If you have a short or awkward hallway, horizontal stripes can widen and lengthen

Just like in fashion, they can make you appear wider, but there's nothing wrong with doing that to a room!

V E R T I C A L

Height is key with vertical.
As they say for fashion it can make you taller and leaner looking.
If your room is suffering in height,
Or if you want to accentuate a very high ceiling
this is a perfect option
* pulling it onto the ceiling is a very pleasing effect *

Not only is stripes a perfect accent,
its super easy!

All you need is your two colors, brush and roller,
Frog Tape,
some good tunes and an evening

and believe me, frog tape is a must.
Your lines will be crisp, perfect and professional.
You may even fool someone into thinking its wallpaper.
Frog tape comes in the regular (green) delicate (yellow)
and Shape Tape (we'll get into our love for shape tape in a different post)
Regular frog tape can be used 3 days after newly painted walls.
Delicate frog tape can be used 24 hours after freshly painted.
Just depends on how quick you plan on moving.

Now you can be left with the tough choice,
not only to choose one color, but two.. or more!

is this vertical or horizontal?

Be Inspired
